Passed away peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell Site - Janet McDonell Pavilion, on Wednesday, February 10, 2010. Theodore “Ted” Campbell McNaughtan of Cornwall; formerly of Dalhousie Station; age 88 years. Ted was born in Dalhousie, Quebec on November 22, 1921. Beloved husband of the late Esther Ruth McNaughtan (nee Robinson). Beloved son of the late James McNaughtan and the late Annabell McNaughtan (nee Campbell). Survived by his son Darryl McNaughtan (Teri Mulligan), daughter Ruth Brodie (Ewen Dewar), and grandson Robert Brodie (Jackie Schellingerhoud); all of Cornwall. Dear brother of Agnes Hamre (late Edmond) of Cornwall, Anna May Wightman (late Clifford) of Lancaster, and Jean Gardner (Melvin) of Bainsville. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one brother Duncan McNaughtan (late Anne MacKenzie) and two nephews. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak Street, Lancaster (613) 347-3629 on Sunday, February 14, 2010 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. A celebration of Ted’s life will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church (The Round Church), Dalhousie Mills on Monday, February 15, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to St. Andrew’s United Church or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
